Technical description:
The advertisement campaign is built upon the tool-system (hardware and software) especially developed for this purpose based on bluetooth technology (short range, wireless, high frequency data transmission).

The equipment makes contact automatically and simultaneously 28 on 56 or more parallel channels (depending on type) and sends messages with optional content that can be any format of image- or video-message.

Hardware base:
Central unit:
It is based on computers in robust metal casing, does not have moving spare parts. It can be used indoor and outdoor as well. Each of them handles 2, 4, 5 or 8 bluetooth transmitters simultaneously (depending on type).

Bluetooth transmitters:
1 transmitter can communicate on 7 channels with the units to be served..
One transmitter always works in scanning mode, the remaining transmitters make contact with the devices found, and transmit the content. Baud rate (20-300Kb/s) depends on the distance between the parties, environmental noise, and the number of simultaneous contacts. The maximum range of transmitter (100 m) can be limited.

Connection surface:
Basically, network or direct wire network can be used for programming and campaign upload, but it can be remote controlled by Wifi or GPRS modem as well.

It is provided by manufacturer, and is installed on PC. Operation systems supported by manufacturer are: Windows 2000 or latter.

Advertisement contents (formats) to be sent according to the recognized cell phone's "capability".
  1. When making contact, the devices can 100% identify the manufacturer of the mobile phone, and in 80-90% it can identify the type of the phone as well.
  2. There is a possibility within the campaign to define the different contents according to cell phone types. Ex.: still images for the older, and motion pictures for the devices that are able to display them. (If contact is made with an unrecognizable device, a "default content" will be sent.)

Method of making contact:
  1. Scanning devices
  2. Starting question: Receive message via Bluetooth from < "set name" >?
  3. In case of receiving, transmit content according to the cell phone type. After that the receiving device will be put on an "accepted blacklist", so before a designated time limit, the given content will not be received again.
  4. In case of rejection the identifier of the cell phone will be put on "rejected blacklist". Time limit can be set for the unit to re-send the content.
  5. Failure - Content transmission was failed. (Possible reasons: the user did not recognize the sending attempt, or the device was out of range, etc.).
